She covers some of the hidden dangers when taking some of the popular ‘magic pill’ solutions which promise easy weight loss.

She discusses dietary supplement health with reference to some specific weight loss products and points out some of the problems that most people are not aware of, such as undisclosed amounts of substances in ‘proprietary blends’.  She uses an example of people who have a sensitivity to caffeine and how there would be no way of knowing how much was in this particular product.

It is also pointed out that some herbal preparations such as Guarana and Yerba Mate have caffeine components and again it would be difficult for consumers to assess their appropriate dietary supplement health not knowing the amounts contained in some of these prepations.

Caffeine is a common inclusion in weight loss formula’s due to it’s ability to increase metabolism however, this can definitely be an issue when specific amounts are not disclosed and threatens your dietary supplement health.
